Gear Ratio
The gear ratio is the ration between how many spins the gaer has to turn to how many spins the wheels go. To figure this out We count how many teeth are on the gears and make a ratio of them. Ours is 25/1 this means for every 25 spins out gear makes, it counts as one fill rotaion for out wheels. This makes it have more power and pull alot more. We decided to keep this gear train becuase it worked so well in the first week of compitions.
The Tank (week 2)
For week two we addeed weight to the robot by loading it up with all the pieces of the kit. WE Kept the same gear raito as week 1 and we won out first match ageinst The Dark Side of the moon. Our robt may need to be supported more. And The Wheels keep losing there grip. so our goal for week 3 is to fix these problems.
The Tank (week 3)
Our robot, the Tank, is a mean scary machine. Bulit with a 25/1 gear raito, $ wheels, a weigth (power cord), and 3 mottors. The robot is one hard oppenit on the bracket. From the the first Prototype to the last we have added many support to the back and front wheel, keeping the same look of the robot but having many improvements. Our bot one all of its challenges through the week. except for the last week which Joe's bot beat me. Which sadly is the only video i put up.

Tug of War Bot
Battle Bot
The problem of the Battle bot is to develop a root that can push another robot out of the square, or make it no able top work. My design is to build as robot that can move in all direction and have a some sort of weapon on the bot. it needs to be strong so my bot can push the robot out ot the circle. so a gear ratio for torque would be useful. The main weapon on my weapon is the arm smaker infront of it . The wepon is used to completly destroy the other robot.
