Auto Cad
AutoCAD is a computer aid program that is used to design, make models, blueprints, etc… AutoCAD was first released in 1982 and was one of the first CAD programs to run on the computer. AutoCAD can create 2-D, and 3-D model images that show an exact measurement for all lines, circles, etc…
this is my first drawing that I made on autoCAD. for the drawing I learned how to use the line program, the intersection, and the circle program.
For my secound drawing on CAD i learned how to use the perpendicular tool which connects two lines to make the perpendicular.
The pully system was a really hard drawing at first. Using math to help me locate the circles and using the circle trangent tool too i completed my 3rd drawing.
This drawing was pretty simple. While using the circle tool and snap line to midpoint tool i made much of the final drawing. The angles of the line that go throught the middle of the circle were given btu i had to do soem math to figure out the correct angle to plug into AutoCAD.
This was antoher simple drawing. The only difficult part was finding how far away the circles were from the middle and the angle of the line that would connet them. I had to learn a new tool for the drawing called the TTR tool wich snaps circles the connors of circle tangents. Using the TTR tool and trim i finished my drawing.
This cad drawing was one of the easiest so far. Some minor problems were the ttr toll which i had learn previously but was stll little chalenging. To start the drawing i stared with a circle at 2 2/3 and put another circle, with the same length, and put it 3 3/4 to the right of the corcle. From there i had the base of my drawing. Then I found the middle in between the two circles and mad a line 1 1/4 down at 270 degrees and a line 3 1/2 up at 90 degrees. at the end of the lines i put two 3/4 diamter circles. After that i found the postion of the other two small circles. lastly i completed the outside using the ttr command and adding cirlcles with a radius of 1 on the smaller circles, and cleaning it up with trim.
